Rats in Suits

I did this image some time ago based on the pet rats that I have. I've gotten a new little lady since then, I'd love to add her.

I was happy with how this particular drawing came out; animals' faces are as varied as people are within a species, I think we're just not as good at seeing it as we are with ourselves. I think these capture how my guys differ, even in poise.

I tend to call my pets after more descriptive monikers rather than their formal names. (Lil' Screamer is now Stoopie, he's calmed down some, but he's still a nutjob)

When my rats were growing up, my roommate played lots and lots of Fallout while they played all over the place. That old style music inspired the peice! Loud noises (like gunshots from the game) don't bother them at all! They're little gangsters~
